Behind the Plate is a Greater Toronto Area-based virtual nutrition practice designed to help women meet their nutrition goals to feel their best physically and mentally. I offer 1:1 nutrition counselling and body image coaching for pregnancy, busy women, families and amateur athletes.

I help individuals who are struggling with their body image. My clients include: competitive athletes, pregnant women and new moms, teens, students and young adults.

I believe in body-neutrality and the pursuit of health at any size (Health at Every Size, HAES).



This is where body image, nutrition and our relationship with food intersects. The Intuitive Eating principles are at the heart of my work.

  • I'm a weight neutral, health at every size practitioner. This means that I do not use the number on the scale as a primary health metric or measure of success. 

  • I believe that everyone can pursue health at any size and I'm here to support that journey

  • Compassion and empathy are my guiding values. I started this practice so I could reach more people like you. The connections I've built with clients go far beyond basic nutrition education. 

  • I use Intuitive Eating principles to guide my practice. No fad diets or gimmicks here.

  • I am not anti-weight loss, but I am anti-dieting.
