I get it, I've been there too! I want to help you optimize your health through nutrition so that you can feel better, whether you're looking for more energy, improving workouts, balance blood sugar levels, hormones, improve bowel movements or bloating. I will teach you all about healthy and balanced eating so that you can feel your best.

Behind the Plate is a Greater Toronto Area-based virtual nutrition practice designed to help women meet their nutrition goals to feel their best physically and mentally. I offer 1:1 nutrition counselling and body image coaching for pregnancy, busy women, families and amateur athletes.

Nutrition Programs

When you sign up for a nutrition program you get to take advantage of the following perks:

Unlimited email support in between sessions. This means that if you have a questions in between sessions, you can access your dietitian through the online software or email.

You will also get a package of exclusive science-based resources such as: meal planning tools, product lists, recipe banks and many more!


One 60-minute with three 30-minute sessions. Perfect for people new to nutrition who are wanting to learn the basics about balanced and healthy eating including label reading to meal planning.

This is a six-month relationship with food intensive. This program includes two 1-hour sessions per month. This program is guided by principles of Intuitive Eating, Mindful Eating, Health at Every Size and Body Neutrality to help you redesign your relationship with food

One 60-minute and six 30-minute follow-ups over the course of your pregnancy. This program is perfect for those in the family planning stage all the way up to the second and third trimesters.

I help women who are struggling with their body image. My clients include: competitive athletes, new mom's and/or postpartum, teens, students and young adults.

I believe in body-neutrality and the pursuit of health at any size (Health at Every Size, HAES).



This is where body image, nutrition and our relationship with food intersects. The Intuitive Eating principles are at the heart of my work.

My approach to nutrition counseling and body image coaching is this:

  • I'm a weight neutral, health at every size practitioner. This means that I do not focus on your weight in providing care for you. I believe that everyone can pursue health at any size. 

  • Compassion and empathy are my superpowers. I started this practice so I could reach more people like you. The connections I've built with clients go far beyond basic nutrition education. 

  • I use Intuitive Eating principles to guide my practice. 

  • I am not anti-weight loss, but I am anti-dieting. Let's call me a non-diet dietitian
